​Hi I'm Sam.

I like making things that feel real.

​

Whether that's photographing a product at the top of a mountain, creating a film that tells a genuine story, or building an image that couldn't exist without a bit of photo manipulation, I'm happiest when creating meaningful work that has a purpose.

Currently working as a Marketing Manager, I spend a lot of time thinking about what actually makes creative work effective, not just good-looking.

Outside of that, my freelance work is where I continue to grow my skills by working with brands on exciting projects during my dedicated freelance time.

I'm especially interested in working with outdoor, lifestyle and sustainability-focused brands. Getting outside with a camera will always beat being behind a desk. That said, I'm just as comfortable in a studio, whether it's bulk photography of products for an online catalogue, producing artwork for print, or helping businesses create visual assets that they can use digitally.
